My mother was Cecilia Flanagan-born in Wagga , Australia in 1917. Her grest grandfather was Christopher James K Flanagan born 1813 in Castle Dunagh, Kilkenny, Ireland and he emigrated in 1841 to NSW with his wife Johanna Conroy and son Matthew, aged 10 months. I am trying to locate Castle Dunagh and find Christopher’s
siblings and parents.

Harry Clell Flanagan Jr.
My name is Harry Clell Flanagan Jr. I'm the only male left my Irish blood is all I have ..I was very close to my Dad and his two brothers which they had no children.being the only male from my family meant a lot to them. My family came from Ireland to the u.s. approx. around 1850 I'm the 5 th generation since leaving Ireland. I was married once with 2 daughters. which are very beautiful. But as we all know divorces can kill a lot..and me being the only living Flanagan from my family. I'm very lonely. I'm 6th.4inches and 250lbs..I'm all Celtic and very good hearted due to my raising.I'm a server and a protector .and I would like to meet my family in Ireland... I was born on Sept. 23. 1965.

He married Sarah Glynn on July 8, 1850 in St.Mary, St. Denys,St.George Cathedral, Manchester England. Witnesses, Thomas Murphy & Catharine Walsh.
Their daughter Margaret, my grandmother, was born in 1855, in Flatbush, NY. She married Arthur Bannerman April 3, 1885, in NY. She died Aug. 1937 at 82 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ in the Flanagan plot. Arthur Bannerman died May 3, 1913, is buried in Bay Cemetery in Jersey City. Neither grave has a marker.
If any one has information on this Flanagan family, I am very interested in hearing from t
Spencer
My father was named Spencer, however my mother is Flanagan and it seems I am more Flanagan than Spencer... I reside in the mountain of West Virginia, US. My family likes to drink beer, fish and hunt. My papaw's name was Clearance Flanagan who married Rosie Hamilton. She had 13 children. My Papaw on my dads side married Loretta McDonald and had 11 children. BIG FAMILIES.
Every since I was a little boy, I imagined what it would be like to visit Ireland and somehow find where my family came from... I'm an artist painting in oils and would love to set up my easel and bring my pallet and paints to do some studies of the Irish countryside. Some day hopefully.
