This is for Matthew Kerwan. My mother's paternal line was Kirwin when they came to the Boston area. They changed it from Kirwan. My ancestors came from Tuam Galway.

Researching my family. My grandmother was Mary Dillon from Waterford and my grandfather was William Kirwan I think originally from Kilkenny. They lived in knockboy in Waterford where my mum Bernadette grew up. She was born on July 23rd 1933. I know very little else. Hope someone can help me. ????????????

My name is Matthew Kerwan (originally spelled Kirwan, and then Kerwin). My great grandfather Clark Patrick Kerwin, came to the US in 1901 and settled somewhere in PA. He eventually moved to Elmira, NY and married Loretta (Piper) Kerwin. My grandfather Jerome Clark Kerwan, and his older brother John Patrick Kerwan were the first generation born in the US. Believe the family came from somewhere near Galway but not entirely sure. Seeking any info!

Trying to find my fathers branch in Ireland. I’ve gotten stuck and can’t get beyond my great great grand father. John Delaval Kirwan. The only info I have is his name and limerick Ireland as a birthplace. He married Alice Hanrahan. His son is Delaval Francis Kirwan born in 1884 in Waterford. Delaval married Edith or Ethel Mabel Baldock (1886-1972) She was born in South Africa.
